What you will do

• Teach undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral criminal justice courses.
• Conduct research and develop a sustained publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
• Mentor students across academic levels.
• Seek and pursue external grant funding.
• Serve on departmental, college, university, and professional committees.

Requirements

• PhD in Criminal Justice or a related field.
• ABD candidates may be considered if the degree is earned before August 16, 2027.
• Strong research skills and demonstrated or potential publication in peer-reviewed journals.
• Potential for or prior experience seeking or securing external grant funding.
• Regular face-to-face attendance on campus and in the workplace is required.

Nice to have

• Expertise in border security, homeland security, security studies, GIS, immigration, or a related area.
