Senior Project Manager (Medicaid)

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $86,300–$118,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Manage complex projects and programs from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Support Medicaid state implementations and other initiatives within the insurance segment.
• Develop and manage project requirements, schedules, budgets, forecasts, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, internal resources, external vendors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and performance, prepare status reports, and proactively resolve risks and operational challenges.
• Set priorities, delegate work, allocate resources, and contribute to department strategy and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or comparable project management tools.
• Ability to manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to work from a dedicated home workspace that protects member PHI and HIPAA information.
• Home internet with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

Nice to have

• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, SAFe, Prosci Change Management, or comparable certifications.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Medicaid business processes, regulated environments, and Medicaid state implementations.
• Experience leading complex enterprise projects, influencing without authority, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
