Registered Nurse Pediatric Outpatient Full-time Days (Pediatrics)

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States; onsite, full-time day shift.

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care to pediatric outpatient patients using the nursing process.
• Collect and analyze patient data, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and direct the work of assistants involved in patient care.
• Educate patients and families, including care continuation and discharge planning.
• Promote patient safety, assess and manage pain, and complete effective hand-offs.
• Participate in required on-call assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for new hires after January 1, 2011.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois required.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is required for the Outpatient Pediatric cost center; completion may be allowed within six months after hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required, with stated exceptions for certain departments.
