Medication Support Navigator (Certified Pharmacy Technician)

Location: United States (Remote); quarterly travel required for training. Schedule rotates across Central and Eastern Time hours, with possible Pacific Time shifts.

Salary: $24–$28 per hour, plus an annual bonus incentive.

What you will do

• Manage, triage, and assign clinical pharmacy referrals according to patient needs.
• Schedule patient and caregiver appointments for pharmacist-led clinical programs and prepare charts in advance.
• Maintain medication therapy records and complete accurate medication histories.
• Communicate with pharmacies, insurance companies, pharmacy benefit managers, and internal teams to resolve medication access barriers.
• Monitor medication renewal and prior authorization requests, preparing documentation for pharmacist review and following applicable protocols.
• Work independently with pharmacist oversight while collaborating across internal and external care teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current accredited pharmacy technician certification, such as PTCB, with certification maintenance required.
• Registration with applicable state pharmacy boards is required where applicable, with active registration maintained for all assigned states.
• At least 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems.
• English/Spanish bilingual ability is highly preferred.

• Pediatrics experience.
• Ambulatory clinic or specialty pharmacy experience.
