IT Procurement Lead - Software (Healthcare Technology)

Location: Remote nationwide in the United States; must be available to work Eastern Standard Time or Central Standard Time hours. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $115,200–$158,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Develop and execute multi-year IT category strategies and sourcing pipelines based on business priorities, market intelligence, spend, supplier capabilities, risk, and total cost of ownership.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including requirements development, market assessments, competitive events, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and implementation support.
• Negotiate software, SaaS, cloud, data, and technology-enabled services agreements covering pricing, licensing, service levels, data rights, implementation terms, and renewal protections.
• Advise senior business and technology leaders and translate business needs into practical sourcing strategies and commercially sound agreements.
• Manage strategic suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle, including performance, financial health, security, regulatory considerations, renewals, commitments, and risk.
• Deliver cost optimization, demand management, supplier consolidation, financial analyses, business cases, savings forecasts, and executive-ready recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, technology, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least eight years of progressive experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, or a related field.
• Experience sourcing, negotiating, or managing healthcare technology solutions or comparable technology in a highly regulated industry.
• Experience negotiating complex software, SaaS, cloud, data, and technology-enabled services agreements.
• Strong knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, supplier relationship management, financial analysis, and total cost evaluation.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, manage competing priorities, analyze complex information, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business, supply chain, technology, or a related field.
• CPSM, CSCP, CPP, or PMP certification.
• Experience with healthcare technology categories across payer, provider, pharmacy, primary care, home health, or adjacent healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory, privacy, security, interoperability, and data considerations.
• Experience with Coupa, Icertis, Salesforce, or similar e-procurement, sourcing, supplier-management, CRM, or contract lifecycle management platforms.
