Director, Direct Procurement

Location: Hybrid in Acton, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $161,600–$242,375 annual base salary for U.S.-based positions; incentive compensation may also apply.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod insulin management platform and other wearable drug-delivery technologies.

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for approximately $50M in indirect spend across logistics, professional services, facilities, travel, telecommunications, and IT.
• Lead and develop a team of Category Managers and manage strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Lead supplier selection, RFQ and RFP processes, contract negotiations, amendments, pricing agreements, and contract performance management.
• Partner with Finance, IT, R&D, Marketing, Logistics, and Global Supply Chain stakeholders to achieve cost, delivery, quality, and service objectives.
• Implement spend-management procedures, supplier scorecards, risk mitigation plans, and should-cost modeling for key spend areas.
• Identify cost savings, market opportunities, new technologies, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 15+ years of indirect procurement experience, including at least 5 years in a management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration.
• Experience with spend analysis, full RFQ/RFP processes, sourcing strategy development, and large complex contract negotiations.
• Experience leading multicultural teams in a global and complex business environment.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Acton, Massachusetts location.
