Strategic Sourcing Sr Advisor - Clinical Platforms

Location: TX - Richardson, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

Base pay: $102,000–$184,300 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing and category management for clinical platforms and healthcare technology solutions.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies, including needs analysis, sourcing options, supplier selection, and negotiation support.
• Evaluate SaaS solutions, platform architecture, API integrations, interoperability, data platforms, and technology-enabled healthcare services.
• Oversee contracts, cost-reduction initiatives, supplier risk management, and business relationship management.
• Facilitate requirements, support contract drafting and negotiations, and develop supplier partnerships.
• Provide thought leadership using market intelligence, supplier roadmaps, and negotiation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supplier management, or category management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strategic thinking, analytical skills, business acumen, conflict resolution skills, and consistent thought leadership.
• Strong executive presence with excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in the Richardson, Texas hybrid schedule with 3 office days per week.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the payer clinical ecosystem and how health plans operate.
• Experience with SaaS, platform architecture, API integrations, data platforms, and procurement systems.
• Experience with Procure-to-Pay and contracting modules or similar tools.
• Management or team supervision experience.
• MBA or master's degree.
