Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000 in Bentonville, Arkansas, or $143,000–$286,000 in Sunnyvale, California. Additional performance bonuses and potential stock compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Deliver platform capabilities, infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with technical roadmaps.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Apply cloud-native architecture principles to build scalable, resilient, and modular systems.
• Lead system design reviews and validate alignment with architectural and quality standards.
• Build AI-driven applications with machine learning components, automation, and agent orchestration capabilities.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, collaborate with stakeholders, and improve engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science or software engineering field and 4 years of related experience, or 6 years of related software engineering experience.
• Expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, API design, prototyping, CI/CD, and observability.
• Experience with JavaScript, React JSX, Redux-Saga, and React Native.
• Ability to lead design reviews and use data-driven decision-making to improve engineering outcomes.
• Experience in DevOps engineering and remediation focused on platform reliability and developer productivity.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
