Facilities Technician, Maintenance

Location: Griffin, Georgia, United States; onsite, 1st shift, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; travel up to 10%; relocation is not available

Salary: $72,360–$108,540 per year

What you will do

• Maintain facilities, equipment, machinery, utilities, and related systems to improve reliability and manufacturing asset uptime.
• Create and maintain facility layouts, evaluate space requirements, and support rearrangement or expansion planning.
• Support the design and installation of material-handling, paint, filtration, machine, and utility systems.
• Prepare installation work orders and coordinate equipment receipt and installation schedules with craft personnel.
• Troubleshoot equipment and system issues, recommend corrective design or layout changes, and obtain repair parts and documentation.
• Develop predictive and preventive maintenance programs, evaluate equipment during run-offs, and maintain technical machine-support data.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of collaborative processes, structured problem solving, technical troubleshooting, and Total Productive Maintenance principles.
• Ability to work with manufacturing personnel on tooling, process, quality, safety, cost, hazardous-material, and ergonomics issues.
• Experience working with PLC logic.
• Experience maintaining factory equipment or HVAC systems.
• Experience performing basic electrical work.
