Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Greenville, South Carolina, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive inspections, maintenance, replacements, and repairs on manufacturing machinery, facilities, and process equipment.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems; identify wear, malfunctions, and deviations from normal operation.
• Diagnose and repair faulty equipment using root-cause analysis and fact-based troubleshooting.
• Manage heating and plumbing systems and conduct quality and performance checks against design, OEM specifications, and applicable standards.
• Perform general maintenance work including landscaping, painting, carpentry, and material handling.
• Contribute to safety, quality, productivity, cleanliness, and machine-reliability improvements while documenting work in computer systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years of maintenance experience and preferably five years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical skills, including work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, actuators, conveyors, valves, piping, tubing, gaskets, seals, and torque specifications.
• Basic electrical skills, including preferred experience with 120 V/240 V and signal voltage systems; ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with CMMS, work orders, spare-parts management, computer data entry, and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to work on-site, stand or walk for 8–10 or more hours, bend, lift, reach, turn, and repeatedly lift 40 or more pounds.
