IT Infrastructure Technician (IT/OT)

Location: Greenfield, Indiana, USA; onsite work in an active plant/manufacturing environment is required. The role includes occasional travel of less than 10% to other company sites and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

What you will do

• Implement and sustain Industry 4.0 technologies with manufacturing and factory IT teams.
• Maintain industrial networks, manufacturing endpoints, and data flows supporting real-time production insights.
• Support corporate and factory IT infrastructure, from office laptops to manufacturing shop-floor systems.
• Manage the full IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, provisioning, decommissioning, CMDB accuracy, and software licensing.
• Identify automation and self-service opportunities with regional teams to improve operational workflows.
• Advise local management and train employees on IT standards and cybersecurity practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT/OT operations, preferably in a multinational or manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting computer, server, and network systems, with knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and hardware.
• Experience with Google Workspace and foundational knowledge of cloud computing and cybersecurity standards.
• Understanding of ITIL practices and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or technology is strongly preferred.
• Comfort working in an active manufacturing plant, including occasional lifting of heavy equipment, and availability for 24/7 on-call support.

Nice to have

• ITIL Foundation certification or training.
• Experience with ServiceNow or RPA automation tools.
