Productivity Solutions Leader - Transformation & Business Operations (Chief of Staff) (AI Transformation)

Location: Hybrid, typically three days a week onsite in Santa Clara, California, United States. Travel up to 25%, mainly to Germany and Australia, with flexibility across time zones.

Salary: $196,320–$306,750 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the Productivity Solutions Division transformation from platform migration through new operating models, managing plans, dependencies, risks, and value delivery.
• Establish transformation reporting standards and maintain a single dashboard using engineering and delivery data.
• Lead AI adoption across software development, planning, operations, status reporting, meeting synthesis, and risk management.
• Run the division’s operating rhythm, including weekly staff meetings, quarterly reviews, planning, and decision follow-up.
• Identify delivery, quality, and dependency risks, require recovery plans, and escalate unresolved issues to the GM with recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-divisional initiatives with leadership, Finance, HR, Quality, the Transformation Office, and business divisions using the software.

Requirements

• 10+ years in the software or technology industry, including experience in software engineering, technical program management, or engineering operations.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a science field, or equivalent experience.
• Practical knowledge of modern software delivery, including agile at scale, CI/CD, and release planning.
• Daily experience using generative AI and agents, with measurable experience helping teams adopt AI.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders without direct reporting authority and managing commitments across a global, matrixed organization.
• Ability to build and use DORA, flow, and predictability metrics, and to produce concise decision memos and business cases.

Nice to have

• Experience with software development lifecycle, technology platforms, life-science software, AI transformation, lab informatics, or regulated GxP software.
• Previous Chief of Staff, technical program management, or engineering operations experience at a software or technology company.
• Experience leading AI adoption or engineering-productivity programs across multiple teams.
