Director of Strategy & Transformation (AI PDLC)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office; United States salary locations include Colorado, Massachusetts, California, North Carolina, and Texas

Salary: USD 150,500–301,500 in Colorado; USD 163,000–326,000 in Massachusetts; USD 163,000–347,500 in California; USD 143,500–347,500 in North Carolina and Texas per year. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Lead a multi-year Agentic AI transformation of the Product Development Lifecycle across product management, engineering, and QA.
• Assess current processes, technologies, teams, and PDLC personas across product groups.
• Design and implement the future-state Agentic AI operating model, including architecture, tooling, processes, talent, skills, and governance.
• Drive change management, executive alignment, communications, and adoption programs.
• Define the transformation roadmap, milestones, KPIs, and value-realization reporting.
• Facilitate senior-leadership decisions and run a recurring governance process.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience, including 8+ years in progressive leadership roles in corporate strategy, management consulting, or technology and business transformation.
• Experience leading technology transformations; B2B technology experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with strategic and operational project management, cross-functional stakeholder management, workflow automation, or organizational redesign.
• Bachelor's degree required; an advanced university degree such as an MBA is preferred.
• Executive communication, facilitation, analytical, relationship-management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.
