GPU Design Verification Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based at an hirify.global site in Santa Clara, California, with an additional location in Folsom, California, United States.

Annual salary: $141,910–$269,100 USD.

What you will do

• Perform functional verification of graphics logic components covering 3D graphics, media, and display.
• Define scalable and reusable IP-level verification plans, test benches, and verification environment architecture.
• Execute verification plans and system simulation models to analyze coverage, power, timing, and design behavior.
• Replicate, root-cause, and debug pre-silicon issues, then implement corrective measures for failing tests.
• Collaborate with GPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams on functional, performance, and power goals.
• Document test plans, lead technical reviews, and improve verification infrastructure and methodology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer engineering, or a related engineering field with 5+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience bringing up IP-level test benches and strong programming skills in SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Hands-on verification experience with ASIC, CPU, or GPU designs.
• Experience developing IP-level test plans and driving coverage closure.
• Experience with coverage-driven verification, functional modeling, and test writing.
• Experienced-hire level suitable for complex GPU design verification work.

Nice to have

• Understanding of graphics architecture.
• Experience with industry-standard frontend design and verification flows, tools, and methodologies.
• Scripting experience with shell, Perl, or Python.
