In-Store Leadership Intern (Physical Retail)

Location: AllModern in Lynnfield, Massachusetts; requires local travel and work in various nearby locations. The role requires an in-person retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods.

Salary: $25 per hour. Program dates: June 1–August 6, 2027.

What you will do

• Rotate through frontline sales, back-of-house logistics, visual merchandising, clienteling, inventory flow, and omni-channel fulfillment.
• Shadow Assistant Store Managers and Store Managers while reviewing sales reports, labor deployment, and operational decisions.
• Identify a live store challenge, conduct data-driven analysis, implement solutions, and track measurable outcomes through a capstone project.
• Lead morning huddles, monitor shift KPIs, manage assigned floor zones, and handle basic customer escalations.
• Present capstone findings and strategic recommendations to General Managers and regional leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 and plans to return to the course of study after the internship.
• At least one year of experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or leadership is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly lift 50–75 lbs independently or with assistance.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, peak periods, and other retail hours as required.
