Manager, Care Management Behavioral Health

Location: Remote in South Carolina, United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices may be required. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Salary: $78,400–$107,800 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead teams of nurses and behavioral health professionals responsible for care management.
• Oversee assessment and evaluation of members’ behavioral health needs and guide members and families toward appropriate resources.
• Contribute to the methodology and deployment of Intensive Case Management and Behavioral Health programs.
• Identify and resolve barriers that prevent effective care and coordinate tactical departmental initiatives.
• Make decisions about resources, approaches, schedules, and goals while collaborating with managers across departments.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Registered Nurse license in South Carolina, or a qualifying master-level clinical license such as LCSW, LMSW, LMSW-ACP, CSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a master-level clinical qualification in psychology or social work.
• At least 5 years of behavioral health professional experience, 2 years of management experience, and 2 years of care coordination or case management experience.
• Experience working with Medicaid and/or Medicare enrollees to coordinate services, care needs, or benefits.
• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data trends and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work remotely from South Carolina and maintain a dedicated workspace that protects member PHI and HIPAA information.

Nice to have

• Managed care experience and 5+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Clinical acute care experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification.
• Utilization management experience.
