Lead Bid & Project Manager (Energy Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Lead the complete opportunity lifecycle from bid qualification and tender execution through project handover and strategic delivery oversight.
• Develop winning strategies for data centre and emerging technology opportunities, including BESS, microgrids, green hydrogen, electrification solutions, and grid-edge technologies.
• Ensure bids are executable, profitable, and aligned with available resources.
• Lead governance reviews covering commercial, contractual, technical, execution, and project risks.
• Coordinate with Sales, Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, Operations, Digital Solutions, and regional business units.
• Implement digital and AI-driven tendering and project management solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, energy systems, project management, or business administration.
• Experience in tender management, project management, business development, and EPC project delivery, including senior leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading complex international tenders and managing opportunities valued between £50M and £1B+.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy, including major commercial agreement negotiation, contract law, and risk allocation.
• Leadership experience with geographically dispersed teams and business transformation initiatives.
