Software Engineer II, Organizations (Auth0)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid work arrangement.

Annual base salary: CAD 110,000–151,800, plus potential equity, bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and deliver enterprise functionality for Auth0 SaaS customers, including login flows and management capabilities.
• Build features that help B2B applications manage customer and partner access with appropriate permissions and context.
• Collaborate with engineers inside and outside the Organizations team on customer-driven solutions.
• Improve shared product tooling, including internal tools for interactive testing.
• Develop technical improvements to the codebase and service architecture.

Requirements

• Experience with Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript and creating and maintaining public APIs.
• Previous experience developing full-stack applications, including front-end work.
• Ability to build highly reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems.
• Experience with engineering practices, automated testing, Docker, and cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS and Azure is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with team members.

Nice to have

• IAM or OAuth2 experience.
• DevOps practices and Terraform experience.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with large datasets, performant schemas, and queries.
• Security engineering or application security experience.
