What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic communication plans and manage regional communication programs.
• Secure regional media coverage that presents Huntington’s brand, priorities, and initiatives consistently.
• Draft and distribute internal and external communications, including announcements, corporate developments, and crisis communications.
• Create communication briefs, executive summaries, talking points, video scripts, presentations, and FAQs.
• Develop LinkedIn content strategies for regional executives and strengthen executive presence.
• Provide media training and executive communications coaching for business leaders and spokespersons.

Requirements

• 10+ years of corporate communications experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills and executive presence.
• Ability to understand complex concepts and translate them for diverse internal and external audiences.
• Extensive experience with North Carolina and South Carolina media.
