Principal Project Manager (cGMP)

Location: Vacaville, California, United States; fully site-based

Salary: $159,750–$266,250 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex cGMP facility modifications, technology transfers, and capital projects from design through commissioning and closeout.
• Manage project budgets, milestone schedules, risks, and performance for manufacturing upgrades and new construction.
• Ensure engineering, construction, and operational activities comply with federal, state, local, EHS, and cGMP requirements.
• Communicate objectives, risks, and milestone status to senior management, client teams, procurement, legal, and Facilities & Engineering leadership.
• Partner with procurement to negotiate and manage external contracts and internal resources.
• Improve project management procedures, governance standards, and automation infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience executing projects across scope definition, engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up, and closeout.
• Strong capability in budget management, accelerated delivery schedules, and enterprise milestone targets.
• Experience overseeing complex, highly regulated operational environments and maintaining local, federal, EHS, and cGMP compliance.
• Ability to align stakeholders, communicate risks, and work with senior leadership, legal, procurement, and client teams.
• Expertise in coordinating internal resources and negotiating high-value contractor and supplier agreements.
