Material Handler 2 - Press - 12-hr Day Shift Rotating (7am - 7pm)

Location: Chanhassen, Minnesota, United States; onsite. Schedule: 12-hour rotating day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM — Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday; Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Salary: $17.25–$23.83 per hour, with potential overtime, shift differential, call-in, and standby pay.

What you will do

• Remove, flex, jog, stack, bundle, and palletize printed sheets, folded signatures, labels, and other in-process products.
• Inspect printed materials for smearing, registration issues, bad folds, blemishes, scratches, and other defects, and notify the pressroom.
• Move materials between storage, production, warehouse, and binding areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, industrial trucks, or hoists.
• Count, weigh, record, label, and document materials on daily production sheets and related forms.
• Adjust stacking mechanisms, operate banding equipment, and assist the press crew with equipment make-ready activities.

Requirements

• Ability to stock, move, arrange, unload, count, and rotate materials on and off printing press equipment.
• Knowledge of automatic counters, warehouse layouts, item identification codes, storage procedures, and material documentation.
• Experience using manual dollies, carts, hand trucks, hand tools, strapping and stretch-wrapping equipment, and related material-handling tools.
• Ability to follow operating instructions and work under the guidance of a press operator or supervisor.
• Ability to work onsite in Chanhassen, Minnesota, on a rotating 12-hour day-shift schedule.
