Lead Hardware Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Taipei City, Neihu District, Taiwan, with occasional travel to Hsinchu

What you will do

• Lead delivery of hardware systems and sub-assemblies from concept through production.
• Translate high-level concepts into detailed hardware specifications and technology de-risk plans.
• Apply high-speed design practices, including signal and power integrity analysis.
• Work with ODM partners on schematics, layouts, manufacturability reviews, and production builds.
• Drive hardware bring-up, validation, qualification, EMI/EMC, safety, and environmental testing.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions across development and manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• At least 10 years of system-level development experience in server, computer, or networking industries.
• At least 5 years of experience as a lead or manager in a technology-driven product company.
• Experience working with ODM or contract manufacturer design teams through the full product lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of high-speed design, signal integrity, and power integrity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with standards-based optical interfaces such as QSFP and OSFP.
• Proficiency with Ethernet, PCIe, MDIO, SPI, I2C, and JTAG.
• Understanding of FPGA design, power circuits, clocking, mechanical, and thermal considerations.
• Track record of delivering shipped hardware products and leading cross-functional teams.
