Director - Transaction Advisory Services

Location: New York City, New York, USA — 66 Hudson Blvd E. The role requires travel of up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $220,000–$315,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Lead transaction services engagement teams and manage major client engagements.
• Build and manage client relationships while delivering high-quality advisory services.
• Coach, supervise, and train staff.
• Coordinate services with other parts of the firm.
• Research complex accounting issues and conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions.
• Contribute to building a new transaction services practice within the firm.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 12 years of related experience, preferably with a large public accounting or national professional services firm.
• CPA certification required; candidates without a CPA must meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license upon hire in the state of employment.
• Experience leading transaction services engagement teams and analyzing complex business and transaction situations.
• Strong project management, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation, and marketing skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
