Robot Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: Arlington, Virginia; the commitment section states that the onsite role is available to candidates local to the Miami, Florida area. Remote work and relocation are not available; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

hirify.global is a U.S.-based autonomous vehicle startup developing and operating autonomous cars and delivery robots.

What you will do

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, sensors, and mechanical and electrical robot components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, investigate incidents, and repair autonomous delivery robots.
• Test suspension, battery, electrical, and mechanical systems and document service findings.
• Support robot deployment, testing, validation, and onsite field operations across local sites.
• Manage inventory, equipment tracking, parts organization, rapid prototyping, and hardware validation.

Requirements

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, measuring equipment, and technical documentation.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical or electromechanical systems and integrating custom electronic modules.
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe working practices.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, strong troubleshooting skills, and effective teamwork and communication.
• Ability to work in workshop and field environments and lift or move items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship, relocation, and remote work are not offered.

Nice to have

• Automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, electric vehicle, robotics, or autonomous systems experience.
• Soldering, wire crimping, diagnostic tools, and general computer proficiency.
