What you will do

  • Support engineers, technicians, and field personnel during vehicle tests and R&D projects.
  • Maintain test vehicles and maximize their availability for software integration testing.
  • Inspect, install, replace, calibrate, and maintain sensors and autonomous-driving kit hardware.
  • Review logs and maintenance histories to diagnose electrical, compatibility, and component reliability issues.
  • Perform vehicle readiness activities, including base vehicle service, fueling, software deployment, and system integration testing as a Test Conductor.
  • Track vehicle usage, coordinate repairs and RMAs, and help maintain parts, fluids, materials, and equipment inventories.

Requirements

  • Experience servicing and repairing automotive vehicles or heavy machinery, including complex electrical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose vehicle or machinery problems using shop, automotive, and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to use computers for communications, documentation, data collection, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local compliance requirements, including OSHA and shop safety practices.
  • Strong communication, organization, time-management, attention-to-detail, and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment with demanding timelines and safety requirements.
