Data Scientist II (NLP): Developing analytical models, machine learning applications, and data visualizations for U.S. Navy electromagnetic warfare and lifecycle-support systems with an accent on data mining, statistical analysis, reliability, maintainability, and operational availability. Focus on integrating logistics, engineering, maintenance, and operational data, identifying system-performance trends and risks, and delivering data-driven recommendations for readiness and sustainment.
Location: Remote; Secret clearance required for U.S. Navy program support

What you will do
- Develop analytical techniques and applications that transform raw data into actionable information for operational and program decisions.
- Apply data mining, data modeling, statistical analysis, natural language processing, and machine learning to structured and unstructured datasets.
- Build data models and algorithms to identify trends, anomalies, risks, relationships, and performance indicators.
- Create dashboards, visualizations, dynamic reports, technical analyses, and briefings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Integrate logistics, engineering, maintenance, reliability, and operational data to support lifecycle management and sustainment.
- Collaborate with logisticians, engineers, operations research analysts, and program personnel to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- Experience with data-oriented programming languages and analytical tools for collecting, processing, integrating, and interpreting complex datasets.
- Ability to support reliability, maintainability, readiness, operational availability, and lifecycle-performance analysis.
