Commercial Data Scientist (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, the Northeast (New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, or Boston), or other remote locations in the United States

Total compensation: $119,333–$172,800, depending on experience, skills, location, and internal equity

What you will do

• Deliver client-facing insights using machine learning and AI technologies.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform Data, Insights & Strategy, Sales, analysts, engineers, and commercial stakeholders.
• Create data products from scratch and automate reusable production code.
• Analyze hirify.global’s healthcare datasets to identify and classify behavioral patterns of medical professionals.
• Translate complex analyses into clear narratives for internal and client stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a related role working with complex, high-volume structured and unstructured datasets.
• Experience in data science consulting, preferably in healthcare or life sciences consulting.
• Advanced statistical knowledge, including exploratory data analysis, experimental design, and probability theory.
• Deep knowledge of modern machine learning and experience designing, training, and evaluating production models with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills, including production-grade object-oriented code and complex query optimization.
• Experience with distributed data processing, scalable analysis and model training, data visualization, and technical storytelling.
