Salary: $153,600–$285,200 per year, with a possible discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders across Commercial, Medical, and Government Affairs to define business questions, priorities, and analytical objectives.
• Conduct custom analyses across forecasting, market research, data analytics, market access, and digital measurement.
• Develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations supporting in-line, pipeline, and business development decisions.
• Assess therapeutic assets, portfolios, patient experiences, payer dynamics, pricing, reimbursement, and access barriers.
• Integrate analytical products into workflows, promote automation, and share best practices through communities of practice.
• Guide offshore teams, communicate findings to senior leaders, and mentor peers in a matrixed organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience with advanced education.
• Experience in forecasting and data analytics, including synthesizing concise insights for business decisions.
• Experience supporting pipeline and business development strategy through asset assessment, portfolio prioritization, and decision support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptability, and comfort working with uncertainty in a highly matrixed organization.
• Experience with large datasets, statistical analysis, market landscapes, and presenting results to non-technical audiences.
• Work must be based at the South San Francisco, California campus; relocation benefits are not offered.

Nice to have

• Experience in the immunology therapeutic area and pharmaceutical product development or commercialization.
• Graduate degree or MBA in business, economics, engineering, statistics, life sciences, mathematics, computer science, physical sciences, or a related field.
• Experience with Python, R, SQL, syndicated sales data, promotional and marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data, payer data, and statistical modeling.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative primary market research, competitive intelligence, revenue forecasting, digital measurement, and US payer access.
