Manager, Market Insights & Global Strategy (MedTech)

Location: Irvine, California, United States; hybrid work with 2–3 office days per week and up to 20% travel.

Salary: $102,000–$177,100 base pay per year.

What you will do

• Own the annual five-year global electrophysiology market forecast across regional and country-level markets.
• Build, maintain and improve models covering market size, growth, procedures, units, revenue, share, adoption and installed base.
• Integrate internal data with primary and secondary research, syndicated databases and competitive disclosures.
• Support business planning, demand planning, market-share reporting and new-product forecasting.
• Analyze competitor earnings calls and disclosures, translating findings into actionable strategic implications.
• Develop executive-ready narratives, scenarios and presentations for leadership and strategic planning forums.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant professional experience required; 6 or more years preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, MedTech or pharmaceuticals is required.
• Experience with forecasting, market analytics, finance or FP&A, business strategy, market research, consulting or related fields.
• Ability to create, maintain and communicate complex market models and forecasts.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, strong PowerPoint skills and advanced analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
• Strong strategic thinking, executive communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in a matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
• Experience in electrophysiology, cardiac ablation or related cardiovascular markets.
• Experience with market-share reporting, procedure-based forecasting, adoption modeling, installed-base analytics and scenario planning.
• Experience with Qlik, Tableau, Power BI or another data-visualization platform.
