Press Operator 3 - Web Press - 12-hr Rotating Day Shift (7am - 7pm)

Location: Chanhassen, Minnesota, USA. Full-time, 12-hour rotating day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Salary: $28.75–$42.11 per hour, with possible overtime, shift differential, call-in, and standby pay.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain gravure or multi-color offset presses.
• Print single-, two-, and multi-color work with precise color, registration, and image-quality requirements.
• Review job specifications and determine press setup, materials, settings, and imposition requirements.
• Perform make-ready work, including installing plates or cylinders, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and register.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments before and during production runs.
• Clean, lubricate, inspect, and maintain equipment, including minor repairs and replacement of worn parts.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of printing techniques, materials, equipment, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Ability to perform complex mechanical procedures, major adjustments, routine maintenance, and minor equipment repairs.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine appropriate press usage, settings, and materials.
• Skill in using a micrometer to correctly mount and align printing plates.
• Relevant military experience may include Navy MOS LI, Marine MOS 4619, or Army MOS 83F.
