Press Brake Operator

Location: Fontana, California, United States; onsite production-floor role

Salary: $21.61–$29.18 per hour

What you will do

• Operate a press brake to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates.
• Prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake based on product plans and production schedules.
• Measure and align materials and ensure sufficient raw materials are available.
• Inspect finished parts for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine press brake maintenance and keep the work area clean.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating a press brake machine.
• Ability to safely operate or learn to operate press brake controls.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, drawings, product plans, and instructions.
• Basic computer and math skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, push, pull, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 35 pounds; required PPE includes gloves, safety glasses, a hard hat, and ear protection.
