Flexographic Printing Press Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: 170 Monarch Ln, Miamisburg, Ohio, USA; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Salary: $22.97–$25.77 per hour, plus a $2.00 per-hour shift differential

What you will do

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses for production runs.
• Prepare cylinders, mount plates, adjust ink fountains and rollers, and complete precise machine setups.
• Interpret order specifications and use overlay gauges or shop scales to maintain quality tolerances.
• Investigate equipment abnormalities, identify root causes, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow SOPs, ISO 9001 work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments and report completed production in plant software.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of printing press operation experience, preferably with flexographic machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a root-cause troubleshooting mindset.
• Basic math skills and the ability to learn PC software for production reporting.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, squat, and work in varying temperatures; lifting up to 40–50 pounds may be required.
