What you will do

  • Design and conduct biomechanical and human performance research using movement laboratory equipment.
  • Lead data collection and maintain proper calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Recruit and schedule testers to support laboratory operations.
  • Analyze biomechanical data and develop custom analysis scripts.
  • Develop testing protocols for footwear and apparel innovations inside and outside the laboratory.
  • Communicate findings to stakeholders, identify suppliers, coordinate new equipment installations, and collaborate on product innovation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in footwear, sports equipment, or human performance research.
  • Knowledge of footwear and apparel product testing procedures.
  • Experience with force-instrumented treadmills, force plates, pressure insoles, IMUs, motion capture systems, and metabolic carts.
  • Experience with Theia, Accupower, Visual3D, Matlab, Python, or R for data processing.
  • Advanced biomechanics research, project management, collaboration, and presentation skills.
