Robot Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: Onsite; candidates must be local to the Miami, FL area. The role includes travel between local sites and a Monday-Friday PM shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm.

U.S. work authorization is required. Relocation, visa sponsorship, and remote work are not available.

hirify.global is a U.S.-based autonomous vehicle startup developing and operating autonomous cars and delivery robots.

What you will do

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, sensors, and mechanical and electrical robot components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, investigate incidents, and repair autonomous delivery robots.
• Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including suspension and battery components.
• Support robot deployment, testing, validation, and field operations at local sites.
• Document service activities and manage inventory, equipment, and parts.
• Contribute to rapid prototyping and hardware validation efforts.

Requirements

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, measuring equipment, and diagnostic tools.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems and integrating custom electronic modules.
• Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe working practices.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to work in workshop and field environments.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more, with strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Experience with electric vehicles, robotics, autonomous systems, or advanced technologies.
• Soldering, wire crimping, computer proficiency, and familiarity with diagnostic tools.
