Base salary: $226,000–$305,500 per year

What you will do

• Set the experience vision for QuickBooks Live and ProPartner and translate the co-serve strategy into cohesive customer experiences.
• Connect the end-to-end journey from service discovery and onboarding through bookkeeping and business insights.
• Design AI-native experiences that combine intelligent automation with expert review, guidance, transparency, and customer agency.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to turn emerging AI capabilities into customer value.
• Set a high bar for interaction, visual, and motion design across QuickBooks, the hirify.global Accountant Suite, and partner surfaces.
• Lead, coach, and grow a design team while building a culture of critique, craft, curiosity, and accountability.

Requirements

• Experience designing services, human-in-the-loop, or marketplace experiences where people are part of the product.
• Hands-on experience with AI-native product design and combining AI with human expertise in high-stakes workflows.
• Significant experience leading product design and building high-performing design teams.
• Ability to set strategic direction while staying close to interaction design, systems thinking, usability, and craft.
• Experience in SMB, accounting, fintech, or another complex, high-trust domain, or the ability to become fluent quickly.
• Experience aligning Product, Engineering, Services and Operations, Research, Risk, Legal, and Compliance partners around a shared experience vision.
