Staff Product Designer (Fintech)

Location: Remote in the United States, or office-based in New York, Seattle, or South San Francisco. Office-assigned employees spend at least 50% of each month in their local office or with users; remote employees regularly work from home and must live at least 35 miles (56 km) from a Stripe office.

Annual US base salary: $191,300–$286,900.

What you will do

• Define the visual direction for new Link products and surfaces across mobile and web.
• Lead design exploration for early-stage opportunities from concept through launch.
• Build visual languages, component patterns, and design systems for new products.
• Extend Link’s visual identity into new product categories with brand design partners.
• Use design exploration and rapid prototyping to shape product strategy and clarify abstract opportunities.
• Represent Link’s design vision in senior reviews and establish the creative bar for new product areas.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience with a strong visual and mobile design foundation.
• A portfolio demonstrating 0-1 work and products taken from concept to launch.
• Experience creating cohesive visual systems for new products from scratch.
• Deep fluency in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Experience framing and solving problems in high-ambiguity environments.
• Must be located in the United States for the remote option.

• Ability to simplify complex problems while balancing flexibility, power, and ease of use.
