Senior Specialist, Plant Finance (Manufacturing)

Location: Aurora, Illinois or Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; onsite role supporting global manufacturing plants.

Salary: $85,500–$114,000 per year, with actual pay based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Analyze financial results and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Support monthly and annual forecasting, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting.
• Review manufacturing variances and provide operational decision support.
• Prepare, execute, and analyze Capital Expenditures (CapEx).
• Complete month-end close activities and support accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Provide financial education and guidance to non-finance employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control concepts.
• Proficiency with SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and business-partnering skills.

Nice to have

• Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Business Objects or SAP BPC.
• Experience identifying, validating, and tracking continuous improvement projects.
