Plant Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Winchester Plant, Winchester, Virginia, United States

Base salary: $120,800–$151,000 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead financial management, reporting, budgeting, planning, and analysis for the Winchester manufacturing plant.
• Manage the month-end close process in SAP and reconcile plant balance sheet accounts.
• Forecast costs, analyze productivity pipelines, and support cost reduction and operating efficiency improvements.
• Maintain financial standards, including financial bills of materials, and ensure accurate financial records and asset protection.
• Conduct self-assessment audits and manage internal and external audits in compliance with company policies, GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Lead plant initiatives, support capital and capacity projects, provide tools for Lean Six Sigma teams, and manage one direct report.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in finance or accounting management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, product costing, and financial systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and extensive practical experience with SAP or other costing systems.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, project management, and change management skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven approach.

Nice to have

• CPA, CMA, CGA, or an MBA in Accounting or Finance.
