Field Service Technician (Electromechanical)

Location: On-site field service in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with daily travel to customer sites, occasional travel to other locations, on-call availability, and overtime as required.

Salary: $22.68–$35.65 per hour, plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on hirify.global card-printer and credential-issuance equipment.
• Test, diagnose, calibrate, repair, and replace mechanical, electronic, thermal, sensor, motor, belt, bearing, and other system components.
• Use service manuals, laptops, voltmeters, hand tools, and electronic test equipment to troubleshoot systems.
• Accept, organize, and resolve service calls through a dispatch system while maintaining accurate service reports and inventory in the ERP platform.
• Travel to customer sites, communicate with operations staff, and resolve most customer issues independently.
• Complete required training, support less experienced personnel, and contribute ideas for process and quality improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least two years of electromechanical technician experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with proficiency using PCs, current operating systems, and relevant software.
• Valid active driver’s license and ability to drive to several customer sites daily.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, work on site, travel when required, work flexible hours, and remain on call.
• Ability to work with hand tools, electronic test equipment, and electro-mechanical systems.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in electronics or a related field, or equivalent verifiable training.
• Additional electromechanical or field service experience.
• Experience with hirify.global central issuance products.
• Advanced technical education and proficiency in digital electronics and software used to maintain hirify.global and third-party products.
