Product Manager, Managed Solutions, Product Development & Management (Asset Management)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; work arrangement includes an on-site and remote work proportion to be discussed during the interview

Annual base salary: CAD 82,000–106,400, plus participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

What you will do

• Support product innovation, development, shelf management, and strategic priorities for the Managed Solutions product offering.
• Develop enhancements to existing products and support the launch of new asset management products and services.
• Assess competitive conditions, client and advisor needs, pricing, distribution, revenue impact, product positioning, and industry trends.
• Manage ongoing product delivery, product information, marketing and sales support, and product enhancements.
• Develop and implement strategic and tactical business plans focused on efficiency, profitability, cost management, pricing, and customer experience.
• Coordinate with internal partners to support training, marketing, sales initiatives, audit, legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in investment product development, product management, product development, or project management.
• In-depth knowledge of mutual fund, investment product, financial services, and asset management industries.
• Experience with business planning, business model development, pricing, strategic planning, analytical research, and complex projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; expertise with Morningstar Direct or a similar database.
• University degree in Business or Finance, with strong analytical, organizational, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course.
• CFA candidate or charterholder status.
• Other industry accreditations such as CFP or IFIC.
