Water/Wastewater Project Manager (Civil Engineering)

Location: Denver, Colorado Springs, or Loveland, Colorado, USA

Salary: $100,000–$155,000 per year, depending on experience and expertise.

What you will do

• Manage and deliver water and wastewater engineering projects.
• Lead project scopes, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Apply knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, collection systems, distribution systems, and pumping facilities.
• Manage client relationships, project financial performance, and repeat-business opportunities.
• Develop and lead professional service proposals and project pursuits.
• Travel for business-related activities using a company or personal vehicle.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in Colorado, or the ability to obtain it within six months.
• At least five years of experience managing and delivering water and wastewater engineering projects.
• Experience managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication, client management, and leadership skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling, CAD design, and project management software.
• Experience building client relationships and generating repeat business.
• Participation in professional organizations and industry conferences.
