PRN MA (Medical Assistant)

Location: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, United States; onsite

Salary: $21.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients to exam rooms and clean and stock clinical spaces.
• Review medical information, gather updated health data, take vital signs, draw blood, give injections, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations under provider direction and written orders.
• Schedule patients, manage check-in and check-out, process medical record requests, coordinate referrals, and support care outside the clinic.
• Document accurate patient information, process test results, and communicate results according to provider instructions.
• Support patient outreach, care-gap activities, and maintenance of clinical and office supplies.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
