Focus on performing ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, CLIA-waived testing, maintaining medical equipment and supplies, and delivering safe, efficient patient care.
Location: Woodstock clinic, 3707 Doty Rd, Woodstock, Illinois, United States. Onsite, Monday through Friday, 36 hours per week, day shift.
Salary: $19.13–$25.83 per hour

What you will do
- Support physicians, nurses, and other licensed medical staff with patient flow and clinical activities.
- Prepare patients for examinations, obtain and document vital signs, update medical information, and communicate significant changes to the care team.
- Assist with ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, procedure trays, specimen collection, and CLIA-waived testing.
- Prepare, disinfect, sterilize, stock, and maintain exam rooms, equipment, instruments, vaccines, and medications.
- Promote patient satisfaction through professional communication while protecting patient confidentiality.
- Perform delegated procedures and other duties according to clinic protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current certification as a medical assistant, or written proof of eligibility for an approved certification examination.
- American Heart Association-accredited Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
- Zero to two years of experience in a relevant role.
- Strong computer skills.
- Medical assistant certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment, after up to two test attempts.
Nice to have
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
- One to two years of ambulatory care experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
