Press Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Prepare multiple pieces of equipment for startup and operate them during production.
• Produce dimensionally accurate medical and non-medical products while meeting customer specifications.
• Inspect products, identify defects, and remove nonconforming items from the production line.
• Read blueprints, drawings, measurements, tolerances, rulers, and traceability records.
• Adjust press gear ratios and re-registration settings, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain equipment logs.
• Track press time and material usage in SAP and collaborate with manufacturing staff on quality and production issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating machinery and performing inspections in a similar environment.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions, read blueprints, take measurements, and understand production records and procedures.
• Knowledge of key manufacturing processes and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow standardized work, safety practices, and continuous-improvement procedures in a fast-paced production environment.
