TL;DR
Director, Field Effectiveness, Rare Disease and Oncology (Sales Operations): Leading field effectiveness programs and a team that supports sales-force performance across rare disease and oncology with an accent on field insights, operational excellence, and commercial execution. Focus on optimizing field reporting, customer targeting, digital tools, launch readiness, and cross-functional project delivery.
Location: United States; strong preference for a flexible commuter arrangement to Deerfield, Illinois, or Thousand Oaks, California, with on-site work 2 to 3 days per week. A remote option will be considered.
Salary: $193,656.35–$262,005.65 annually.

What you will do
- Manage the functional plan and execution of field effectiveness programs and initiatives.
- Develop the department’s organizational design, roles, responsibilities, goals, and objectives.
- Lead initiatives involving sales-force size and structure, launch readiness, field transformation, and operational improvement.
- Monitor field performance, identify issues and opportunities, and recommend corrective solutions.
- Coordinate customer targeting, field reporting, field alerts, omnichannel initiatives, and digital tools.
- Lead, mentor, coach, and develop the field effectiveness team while collaborating with commercial capabilities and innovation partners.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 4 years of sales analytics and/or field effectiveness experience; or master’s degree and 8 years; or bachelor’s degree and 10 years.
- At least 4 years of experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
- Experience with analytical problem-solving, strategic planning, and field operations improvement.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate goals, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work on-site 2 to 3 days per week in Deerfield, IL or Thousand Oaks, CA, or be considered for the remote option.
