Senior Project Manager (ServiceNow)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States

Base pay: $150,000–$175,000 per year. Additional incentive compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementations across functional and technical workstreams.
• Define project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, governance cadence, status reporting, RAID logs, sprint reviews, and executive updates.
• Coordinate Solution Architects, Business Process Consultants, Technical Leads, distributed delivery teams, testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live readiness.
• Manage risks, issues, scope changes, change control, project budgets, forecasting, burn rate, and delivery within contracted SOW boundaries.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow implementation best practices and Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Manage hypercare, transition to support or managed services, post-implementation reviews, and continuous delivery improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience in enterprise technology implementations.
• 4+ years leading ServiceNow implementations in a client consulting environment.
• Experience managing multi-workstream and multi-module implementations, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SPM.
• Experience managing large-scale budgets, forecasting financial performance, distributed or offshore teams, and executive-level briefings.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies, including Agile ceremonies and ServiceNow Now Create methodology.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; PMP, ITIL, SAFe, PMI-ACP, and ServiceNow CSA certifications are preferred.

• Experience conducting post-implementation reviews and converting lessons learned into repeatable delivery improvements.
