Location: Duluth, Georgia; Tempe, Arizona; or remote from Chicago, Illinois, United States. Up to approximately 40% domestic and international travel is required. US citizenship required.
Salary: $117,500–$185,500 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area, the range is $146,000–$219,000 annually.

What you will do
- Audit and onboard suppliers using commodity and quality-system expertise, while conducting surveillance to mitigate potential issues.
- Develop underperforming suppliers through root-cause corrective action, metrics, monitoring, and AS9100 process improvements.
- Lead company-wide initiatives to create, improve, and standardize quality processes and systems.
- Partner with strategic sourcing, supply chain, NPI, design engineering, operations, and commodity experts on supplier strategy, risk assessment, and escalations.
- Drive improvements in supplier onboarding, surveillance, SCAR closure, aftermarket performance, and core supplier quality metrics.
- Train and mentor quality engineers in auditing, commodity methodologies, and supplier quality processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a supplier quality role and 10+ years in quality engineering or continuous improvement.
- Engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with the autonomy to work independently.
- Knowledge of statistics and statistical process control, including the ability to interpret engineering drawings, procedures, process guidelines, and data.
- Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar standards.
- Experience in one or more relevant commodities, such as fabricated metals, fabricated plastics or polymers, PCB/PCBA, antennas, radiofrequency products, cables, or connectors.
- US citizenship is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with space-flight hardware or aerospace quality-system requirements.
- Lean Six Sigma belt certification and practical knowledge of FMEA, 8D, A3, 5 Why, cause-and-effect, fault-tree analysis, and other failure-analysis tools.
- Experience with PLM tools such as Agile and ERP systems such as Oracle.
- Published standards or recognition as an expert outside .
