Utilities Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Dover, DE, United States; onsite at the Dover Plant

Base salary: $77,800–$97,300 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Direct utilities personnel and coordinate maintenance activities to support production schedules, quality, safety, and cost targets.
• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, maintenance logs, spare-parts inventory, and maintenance management systems.
• Improve equipment reliability and production efficiency through downtime analysis, equipment modifications, TPM, Six Sigma, Lean, and KHMS initiatives.
• Oversee electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, boiler, ammonia refrigeration, wastewater treatment, building, and grounds systems.
• Support capital projects, operating budgets, employee training, performance management, and collaboration with engineering, HR, contractors, suppliers, and technical consultants.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, PSM/RMP, QRMP, and plant safety requirements, including wastewater treatment and utility usage reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
• 1–5 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with maintenance management system operations and understanding of direct and overhead cost systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems; ammonia refrigeration and boiler experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule covering days, afternoons, midnights, and weekends.
• Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting and programming experience is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing and maintaining TPM systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and programming Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Engineering or related technical degree.
