Operations Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Salary: $63,300–$79,100 annually, based on experience

What you will do

• Supervise operations staff and manage daily work assignments and schedules.
• Monitor production activity, identify process issues, troubleshoot root causes, and implement short- and long-term solutions.
• Coordinate with site leadership and other supervisors to establish processes aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, government regulations, quality requirements, and safety protocols.
• Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives while driving team performance.
• Develop team members, promote collaboration, and maintain accountability for operational results.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Operations Supervisor I: at least 2 years of experience in an operations, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Operations Supervisor II: at least 3 years of operations, manufacturing, or distribution experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Understanding of supervisory principles, problem-solving, conflict resolution, communication, and team coordination.
• Experience with process improvement; LEAN or continuous improvement certification preferred.
• Ability to follow safety regulations, meet goals, adapt to changing demands, and work in a manufacturing environment requiring extended periods of standing and walking.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Kronos, or Workday.
• Bachelor's degree and LEAN or continuous improvement certification.
