Maintenance First Line Supervisor

Location: Deepwater, New Jersey, United States; onsite at the Chambers Works Plant. The 24/7 facility requires occasional nights, weekends, and on-call availability.

Salary: $85,801–$134,064 annually, plus a 6% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop area mechanical and E&I maintenance personnel.
• Improve safety, security, health, and environmental performance through training, coaching, and standards enforcement.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs and ensure regulatory inspections and maintenance activities are completed and documented.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and mechanical process hazard reviews.
• Coordinate maintenance workforce allocation with maintenance and production leaders based on site priorities.
• Track KPIs and drive improvements in equipment uptime, work systems, performance, and cost.

Requirements

• Supervisory, detail-supervisory, or strong demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to complete work independently, influence others, make decisions, and lead teams in unstructured situations.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Experience implementing Lean practices, including 5S, and applying structured problem-solving methods.
• Commitment to Performance Management and Environmental, Health & Safety expectations.
• Ability to work onsite in Deepwater, New Jersey, including occasional nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing experience.
• Five or more years of maintenance experience.
• Planning and scheduling experience.
• Participation on a Six Sigma team.
